Annie was born on December 10, 1929 in McGehee, Arkansas, to Emmett Jackson Ingram and Margarette Jane (Smith) Ingram. She grew up and attended school in Arkansas. Annie married Bront Sullivan on June 3, 1955 in Liberty, Missouri. The family lived around the Johnson County, KS area for several years before making their home in Grandview, Missouri from 1959 until 2013.
Annie was active in the First Baptist Church in Grandview, participating in the Bus Ministry, Vacation Bible School, and Women’s Ministries. She was also a trusted caregiver for the disabled and the elderly. Annie enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, canning, and was known for her cooking and baking skills – her pies were regularly requested by many. Annie had most recently resided at Garden at Creekside in Olathe, where she was very active and made many friends. She also still kept in touch with her dear friends from First Baptist Church of Grandview, spending her Saturdays catching up with them by phone.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Bront Sullivan; a daughter in infancy; a sister, Bernice Jenkins; and three brothers: Ira Ingram, James Ingram, and Jack Ingram. She is survived by four children: Judy Sullivan, Alvin Sullivan (wife, Elaine), Shireen Morris (husband, Steve) and Garry Sullivan (wife, Susan); 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Annie’s favorite thing to do was spending time with family and especially having her grandkids with her. She had a beautiful smile and was a loving and giving person who will be greatly missed.
