Ann Dickerson

Ann Dickerson, 82, of Belton, Mo, passed away on January 15, 2015. She was born May 7, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri to Joseph and Anna Hood. Ann prided herself on being a tomboy, had a wonderful sense of humor, loved rescuing stray animals, and enjoyed playing bingo and drinking chocolate malts. She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and beloved pets. She will be dearly missed by her 3 children - Ann Fines (husband Bob), Kathy Thompson (husband Gary), and Gary Dickerson; 9 grandchildren - Michael Fines, Christina (and Brian) Waugh, Andy (and Shannon) Fines, Joanna (and Ty) Erickson, Andrea (and Gavin) Wood, Mark Thompson, Terri (and Chris) Waag, Sandy and Amanda Dickerson; 16 great-grandchildren - Kathryn, Alani, Zach, Corey, Ethan, Rachel, Tommy, Jaxson, Lilly, Shelby, Bryce, Alex, Gabriel, Hailey, Ashlee, and Robert; and one great-great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 23 at 1pm, Longview Funeral Home & Cemetery 12700 S. Raytown Road Kansas City, Missouri 64149.
