Agnes Lackey

Agnes Patricia Lackey, 81, of Smithville, Missouri, passed away on February 8, 2018 at Liberty Hospital.

Aggie was born December 3, 1936 in Elmira, New York to John and Elizabeth Owens. She spent her life as a beloved wife to her devoted husband, Richard M. “Bud” Lackey, from the time they married on June 5, 1954 until he left this earth in 2012. Aggie will be remembered for enjoying time with her family, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and living and traveling across the world with her husband in support of his Air Force career.

Aggie was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Bud Lackey; her granddaughter, Angela Giarratana; her great-granddaughter, Kirsten Herdzina; and many siblings. She is survived by her children: Rick (Cindy) Lackey, Deborah Giarratana, Lynn (Keith) Herdzina, Sharon (Mitch) Cushman, and Dawn Lackey; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and many extended family members.

Graveside services will be held at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Locust St, Boonville, Missouri on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 12:00 p.m.
