Rodney Charles Jones, 56, Grandview, Missouri, died October 15 at the home following a short illness. Rodney was born August 15, 1951, the son of Chesley H. Jones, Sr. (Deceased) and Ruth Bowlin. He was employed by GMC Electric. He had been a member of Elks Lodge 2088 since 1996.
Mr. Jones is survived by three children; daughters Angela Reed and Megan Jones, a son, Brandon Jones and five grandchildren. Survivors also include his mother, Ruth Bowlin, sister, Nancy Brennan and brother, Chesley H. Jones, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Longview Funeral Home, 12700 Raytown Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64149 on Friday, October 19 at 2:00 p.m. Services will also be held on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 13600 Arrington, Grandview, Missouri (816-761-8990).
