Dorothy Hancock

Dorothy Ann Hancock, 98, Belton, Mo passed away February 8, 2021. Graveside service will be 11am Friday, February 12, 2021 at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens SW, 228 MO-13, Warrensburg, Mo 64093.

Dorothy was born on December 14,1922 in Johnson County, Missouri to Reid and Anna (Teeter) Lindsey. She grew up and attended schools in Chilhowee, Mo. After graduating and getting married to Harry Hancock she went to work for Bendix/ Honeywell as an assembly employee for 25 years. Harry and Dorothy were blessed with one Daughter Cindy. Dorothy always enjoyed going shopping with Cindy and her Grandchildren. Dorothy was always a hardworking Industrious Wife and Mother, who had impeccable housekeeping skills. Dorothy and Harry loved to go dancing and spending time together.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her Husband, Harry Hancock in 2008, her parents Reid and Anna Lindsey, Brothers JC and Donald Lindsey. She is survived by her Daughter Cindy Panek, Grandchildren Renee Barker and Jeff (Jen) Barker and Great Grandchildren Jenna Purvis and Karli Purvis. She will be greatly missed by all.
